Mt. Olivet Lutheran Church has been serving the community of Perry for over 50 years. We truly believe in God’s love and forgiveness for all people and strive to make that truth known in our church and community.
We worship together. We work together. We laugh together. We cry together. But above all, we love together. We love God. We love each other. We love all those who enter our doors. We love all those in our community. We are more than just a church, we are a family. Brought and held together by God’s love. A love which truly makes us who we are; God’s children, God’s church, the people of Mt. Olivet Lutheran Church. |
We believe we are;
Claimed by God’s grace for the sake of the world, we are a new creation through God’s living word by the power of the Holy Spirit;
Gathered by God’s grace for the sake of the world, we will live among God’s faithful people, hear God’s word and share Christ’s supper;
Sent by God’s grace for the sake of the world, we will proclaim the good news of God in Christ through word and deed, serve all people following the example of our Lord Jesus, and strive for justice and peace in all the world.
